The neighbourhood
Pognana Lario is a small village on the eastern shore of Lake Como's first basin, along the scenic Lariana road that links Como to Bellagio. The lakefront and the ferry pier are a short walk away; the ASF line bus reaches Como in about 16 minutes and Bellagio in about half an hour. Nearby you'll find the lake-view restaurants of the village and of Careno, the Orrido di Nesso gorge with its medieval bridge just minutes away, and all the classic lake destinations reachable by boat or car. An authentic, quiet spot, away from the crowds yet close to everything.
